Introduction to Restorative & Sound Baths

No pressure. No performance. Nothing to prove.

At Dandelight, our restorative practices create space for exactly that. Through Gentle Flow, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and Sound Baths, we explore different ways to move with less intensity, stay a little longer, and give ourselves permission to simply be.

Gentle Flow. Movement, without the rush. Gentle Flow connects breath and movement at an unhurried pace. Expect soft, flowing sequences, space to stretch, and plenty of time to move without needing to keep up with the rhythm of a stronger practice. A chance to move, breathe and take things a little slower.

Yin Yoga. Longer holds. Fewer transitions. More time to notice. In Yin, we settle into postures for longer periods, allowing time to explore stillness and soften into each shape. Rather than moving from one pose to the next, the practice invites you to stay with the posture, with your breath, and with the quiet in between.

Restorative. Here, the focus shifts from movement to rest. Using props to support the body in comfortable positions, Restorative yoga gives you permission to settle in and stay awhile. There is nowhere to get to and nothing to achieve. The practice is in allowing yourself to do less.

Sound Baths.

And sometimes, we leave movement behind altogether.

Settle onto your mat, get comfortable, and allow layers of sound and vibration to fill the room. There is no sequence to follow, no pose to perfect, and nowhere else you need to be. Close your eyes. Listen. Let sound take over your mind.

This is your permission to slow down.

We spend so much of our days doing, moving, and thinking about what comes next. These practices offer something different. A little more space. A little less noise. A moment to stay exactly where you are.

Slowing down takes as much skill as speeding up. With deep experience in Yin, Restorative Yoga, and sound healing, they create a room where you can let go without having to think about it. Soft guidance, well-placed props, and genuine care. All you have to do is stay.

Yoga holds a powerful and special place in my heart. During a time when I was disconnected from my mind, body, spirit, and emotions, I found yoga (or it found me) and my yogic journey had begun. I believe that yoga is truly for anybody and any BODY no matter the age, body type, and experience. Yoga has provided an invaluable sense of self and mind-body connection for me and, as an instructor, it is my privilege, pleasure, and joy to provide that for anyone seeking that for themselves. I was certified in Greece by teachers and philosophers matching my passion for the art of yoga and I specialize in vinyasa and yin yoga styles. Come flow with me!

As a human, an artist, writer, and yoga guide my current desire is to positively inspire the way humanity sees the world through something as simple as movement, words, and photographs. Teaching yoga and creating are gifts that I always want to continue giving for however long I have on this Earth. They are sanctuaries for passionate self-expression and evidence of the most radical self-love. In other words, with the curiosity of my soul, the impeccability of my words, and my eye for detail I want to engulf people with adventures that are like never before. Something that lingers in the imagination and becomes reality once manifested. So let's go on an adventure!

I’m a certified 200-hour yoga teacher trained in Hawaii, with additional Dharma Yoga training in New York and a deep background in Vipassana meditation. Yoga came into my life during one of its most intense chapters and became a path of healing that changed everything. I discovered how deeply the body holds emotion and memory, and how mindful movement can release tension and shift the patterns that shape our lives. In my classes, I guide students through flows that support a deep connection between body and mind, using affirmations, presence, and heart-centered language. My intention is to create space for healing, grounding, and transformation on and off the mat.

What's included under Restorative & Sound Baths?
This category includes Gentle Flow and Yin & Restorative – both closely related styles designed to help you slow down and reconnect with your body. Every session closes with a sound bath, adding a deeply relaxing close to your practice.
What's the difference between Gentle Flow and Yin & Restorative?
Gentle Flow features soft, flowing sequences connected to your breath—your body stays gently active, moving through asanas at a calm pace to support mobility, balance, and light strengthening. Yin & Restorative is a much more passive practice. Poses are held for several minutes with minimal muscle engagement, focused on release and deep relaxation. Yin emphasizes longer passive stretching for flexibility, while restorative focuses on regeneration, often supported by bolsters, blocks, and blankets.
What is a Sound Bath?
Every Gentle Flow and Yin & Restorative class closes with a sound bath using Crystal Tone Bowls—singing bowls crafted from real crystal, known for their pure, resonant tone. As you lie in stillness, the sound washes over you, deepening your relaxation and rounding out the practice.
Who are these classes best suited for?
If you're navigating a stressful day or want to regulate your nervous system, this combination of gentle movement and sound is designed to help you truly unwind—body and mind.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No—everything is provided, including your mat, blankets, bolsters, and blocks, especially for restorative practice.
